“ARAIA has envisaged acquiring suitable land/ building to stabilize our operations, offering our community a Club Hall for Socials, Dances, Meetings & other Functions, akin to our Railway Institute Halls in India, and a project to build/acquire a Home for the Aged.”

The Trustees appointed to develop funds with a view to building our own Institutions are in position and have begun functioning admirably well.

The Trustees closed with a handsome collection of over Seventeen thousand dollars for the Season in their accounts.

Ron played Cricklet & Hockey for The Calcutta Rangers prior to emigrating to Sydney 40 years ago.

He represented the Manly Warringah District both in Cricket & Hockey.

He was a past Chairman of the Cricketers' Club of NSW (1980 to 1989).

He has taken both the Qantas Cricket Club & the NSW Cricketers' Club on cricket tours to all parts of the world.

He is a life Member of the Manly Warringah District CC, the Cricketers Club of NSW & The ANZA Cricket Club in Singapore (where Ron was posted to head Qantas' IT Operations in Asia).

Ron plays an active role with the LBW Trust that raises money for tertiary students in Orissa, Pakistan & Africa.

June D’Souza

June is a Life Member and has been recently actively involved with ARAIA.

An administrator & owner of a successful engineering firm, June, has been a quiet achiever, a stickler for accounting and quality in administration.

ARAIA is fortunate to have her talent.

Glynnis Soans

Glynnis owns and operates a successful Financial Institution. Her enthusiasm as Secretary has generated hope in the Trustees efforts to quicken the pace of achieving the targets.
