Dear Members

On behalf of the Governing Council, Committee Members and Trustees we wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and the very best for the new year. As usual ARAIA is organising a New Years Eve Dinner Dance being held at Parramatta. Details can be obtained by clicking the link above.

The major charity function held this year was a fabulous success. Over $6000 was raised. A great achievement.

Historically we have mainly focused our efforts on supporting disadvantaged Anglo Indians in India.  We have looked back with fondness with the way life used to be in the old days and assisted those less fortunate than us in every way possible. 

While continuing that support we have amended our focus to directing our efforts to developing institutions (like those in India) that can assist and encourage Anglo Indians here in Australia.  It is time to look forward so that our children who were born here can retain a link with their heritage while being Australians.

With this in mind we have appointed a board of Trustees to develop funds with a view to building our own institutions here in our adopted country. 

They planned and ran the Charity Ball this year.
