The MCAS Cricket Team regained the ManGo Cup by winning against GOA NSW in a triangular series with the Australian Residents Anglo Indian Association (ARAIA), played on Sunday, 6 November. GOA NSW earlier held the Cup. Horsely Park provided a perfect setting with a good wicket, green turf, bright sunshine and a cool breeze. This annual cricket match is meant to promote the youth of ARAIA , MCAS and GOA and provide a platform for co-operation and promotion between the three associations. Many members and friends attended to cheer the teams.
The matches were played on a shortened T20 format. Each team played the other two teams, and the two top teams played in the finals. David Conquest (ARAIA), Joy Moras (MCAS) and Alwyn Henriques (GOA NSW) and were the three captains.
Over all the MCAS team played the most consistently and deserved to be winners. The ARAIA and GOA NSW teams played well and presented a good challenge. There were many excellent batting performances from all the teams.
Notable batting contributions were made by Ansel, Johnathan, Roshan and Shawn (MCAS), Joel and Alwyn (GOA) and Peter, Larry, Sahil (ARAIA). Michael (MCAS) produced a match winning bowling performance in the finals. Another feature was the exceptional catching at boundary line by fielders especially Larry Hill (ARAIA).

David Conquest, Chairman ARAIA, Stanley D’Cruz, president MCAS and Tony Colaco, president GOA NSW participated in the presentation of the trophies. The ManGo Cup was presented to Joy Moras, the captain of the winning MCAS team. Other awards were given to:
